Bouff up your hair, dig out your scrunchie and prepare to get nostalgic – RIVA Beach Club is bringing back the 80’s!
Launching Thursday, March 8, the new theme night will see RIVA Beach Club on the Palm Jumeirah transform into the funkiest 80s beachside hangout, complete with a nostalgic mixtape, 80s themed drinks and fancy-dressed servers, that will have you questioning which era you’re in.
Celebrate a golden era of music at the new weekly evening that will have you banging your head to the best of the 80s. Make sure you prep your dance routine as DJ Samer brings you an old school mixtape with all the head banging pop music classics from the likes of Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Michael Jackson and Prince.
The party starts at 6pm, with the drinks rolling til midnight. A special 80’s line up of drinks will fit the theme of the night – choose from a totally beachin’ 99-dirham Sangria pitcher, a selection of classic cocktails such as the raspberry daiquiri or blue margarita, or special 80s fizzy cocktails like the Hurricane (white rum, passion fruit, lime, soda) or the Elderflower Lemonade (gin, elderflower, soda water, lime, mint) – all priced at just AED 20 a pop!
Whether you want to bust out some dance moves to the old classics or people watch whilst indulging in their impressive new menu, RIVA has your Thursday night sorted. And the best part is, entry is FREE. So, don some lycra, and meet us on the dance floor.
