Gursha, an authentic Ethiopian restaurant located in Palm Jumeirah, introduces its Iftar buffet for the holy month of Ramadan. The Iftar menu is set to host a wide variety of mouth-watering vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The complete menu is a blend of flavorsome dishes for everyone which will be served throughout the month of Ramadan from sunset to 9:00pm with a 50% discount for kids. Groups of 10 or more people can reserve a table and avail a discount. The delicious buffet comprises of dates and dry fruits to break the fast and feast on healthy and enjoyable bites such as lentil or lamp soup, samosas and spring roll platters served with avocado or labne mitmita dips. One can also make additions to the platters with half grilledchicken marinated with Ethiopian spices and served with Basmati rice, fossolia and doro sauce.

Complimenting to Middle Eastern style, the Ethiopian cuisine also has chickpeas in most of their dishes. Their dishes like BuTicha is a thick chickpea paste made in garlic and olive oil that is commonly consumed by the Middle Eastern people. All the dishes are accompanied by a gluten free sourdough bread called ‘Injera’. The restaurant emphasizes on sharing food with the group in a common platter which has the Injera at the bottom to be eaten with vegetables and meat on top.
With multiple nationalities residing in Dubai, Gursha has introduced the Iftar menu with an aim to serve scrumptious meals to its residents as well as expatriates for the month of Ramadan. Some of the other popular delicacies the eatery has to offer are the platters – Ye Getoch, Ye Fisik and Taste of Ethiopia. All the platters at Gursha are in a combo meal consisting of various vegetables, meats and salads accompanied with Injera.
