Ice cream maverick Simone Bonini brings his unique ice cream experience to the Middle East for the first time, only at Il Borro Tuscan Bistro Dubai.
Il Borro Tuscan Bistro Dubai, the elegantly yet spirited restaurant and bar located at the Jumeirah Al Naseem Hotel, is delighted to host an unprecedented gourmet gelato experience in collaboration with culinary maverick Simone Bonini. Guests are invited to participate in a remarkable four-course gelato set menu on 16th and 17th March, followed by a one-off master class on the 18th.
Simone Bonini, a gelataio by birth, is considered one of Italy’s most famous gelato makers, bringing an unconventional perspective to his craft. Refusing to apply the traditional rules of ice cream making, Simone’s quest is to challenge the status quo and revolutionize the art of frozen dessert with his innovative and full-hearted flavour variations. In keeping with the Il Borro philosophy, seasonal produce and the highest quality of milk are central tenets of Bonini’s exceptional gelato, that sees Bonini make his Middle Eastern debut this spring.
The bespoke four-course menu at Il Borro Tuscan Bistro Dubai will showcase exquisite ice cream creations that are all infused with surprising, yet outstandingly rich flavors. Dinner will commence with a highly original twist on the classic Negroni, before sitting for a meal of ingeniously designed and uncompromising dishes including Caprese salad with mozzarella gelato, intended to awaken and provoke the senses. The meal ends with a presentation of three variants on the classic gelato, to end the journey on familiar territory.
